I’m Helen Pugh, founder of Ablepreneurs™, based in beautiful Shropshire. 

For over 30 years, I worked in customer-facing roles in estate agency, insurance, and financial services. 

These roles helped me build strong skills in organisation, communication, and problem-solving. 

Life changed when chronic health conditions meant I could no longer work in a traditional office. But I refused to let that be the end of my story. 

I became self-employed, offering remote business support so owners can focus on growth, serve their clients, or simply take a well-earned break. 

From this journey, Ablepreneurs™ was born. 

Ablepreneurs™ is a UK-wide network and visibility platform for disabled and chronically ill entrepreneurs. We champion energy-aware enterprise, inclusive business practices, and real-world impact. 

Through outreach, partnerships, and community-led events like our Coffee Mornings, we’re building a space where lived experience and business expertise go hand in hand.

My mission is simple: remove barriers, create opportunities, and prove that ability doesn’t disappear with illness — it just needs the right environment to shine.
