SPECIALISM
Accessibility and inclusivity consultancy, providing strategic advice, research, and practical solutions to help organisations remove barriers for disabled people. Services include accessibility audits, inclusive policy development, training, and advisory roles, with expertise across sectors from digital services to community spaces.
I also offer Non-Executive Director input, drawing on lived experience and professional knowledge to help businesses embed accessibility from the ground up.
ABOUT
I founded Interactive Future to make accessibility and inclusion the norm rather than the exception. With a career spanning over 20 years, I combine lived experience as a disabled person with professional expertise to help organisations of all sizes create environments, services, and products that everyone can use.
My journey came from recognising a gap in how accessibility was being addressed and too often as an afterthought. I wanted to work directly with businesses, charities, and public bodies to change that.
I’m passionate about shaping spaces, services, and strategies that don’t just “tick boxes” but genuinely work for real people. Every project I take on is about practical, lasting impact, from improving website accessibility to shaping inclusive workplace culture.

SPECIALISM
Graphic & Visual Design
With over 35 years’ experience, I transform lacklustre materials into compelling, actionable tools that elevate reputation and engage audiences. My design work simplifies complex ideas and shines across Education & Training, Hospitality & Tourism, and Public Sector & Community Services.
Virtual Business Support
I help overwhelmed professionals reclaim focus by delivering bespoke admin solutions.
Drawing on a rich and diverse background spanning education, emergency services, small business, and the charity sector, I specialise in Client Management, Compliance & Documentation, and Systems & Workflows.
ABOUT
I’m the founder of Porth VA, based in the beautiful South West of Cornwall. My mission is to create a protected space for clients to reclaim time and energy, shifting from drowning in details to confidently scaling their operations and transforming their visual impact.
My career spans graphic design, business administration, and education, always rooted in creativity and community values. I’ve supported local government, schools, and solo entrepreneurs with both practical systems and artistic insight.
After a decade with the fire service and a secondment to their youth development team, I retrained as a teacher, earning Cornwall’s first ‘Enhancement in SEND’ certification for a Science specialist. I taught across mainstream and independent schools, specialising in special educational needs and leading departments for over eight years.
Diagnosed with a chronic autoimmune condition in 2018, I channelled my determination into expanding my teaching and training skills. By 2024, limited workplace adjustments compelled me to prioritise family and build a business shaped by creativity, communication, honesty, reliability, and integrity. Today, I support educators, coaches, course creators, and small businesses with design and operational expertise that’s both strategic and deeply human.

SPECIALISM:
I help small business owners take back their time and energy by handling all the social stuff. Social media management, logos, branding, promotional materials, event planning, team-building… and honestly, pretty much anything else you need to make your business look and run its best. You handle the business, I’ll handle the social stuff.
ABOUT:
Hi, I’m Shannon! I run the social stuff, where I help small business owners take back their time by managing their social media, branding, events, and all the other bits that make their business shine online. I’m passionate about showing who brands actually are on social media - no fluff, just their real personality.
I live with PMDD, a hormonal condition that can make life tricky, but it’s also inspired me to build a business that’s flexible, empowering, and focused on helping people thrive on their own terms.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me hanging out with my son and our two dogs, obsessing over plants (currently trying my hand at growing pumpkins!), getting creative, being a bit playful, and tapping into my spiritual side. I love blending creativity with strategy to make brands feel alive, authentic, and unmissable online.

SPECIALISM:
I’m a business consultant supporting neurodivergent professionals and business owners to grow, strengthen, and enjoy their work. I help people start up, overcome problems, increase profitability, boost sales, and build businesses that actually work for them.
I often describe myself as not a personal trainer for the gym — but for the business world and the mind. I pick people up, get them going, keep them going, and make sure they stretch without breaking. That also includes helping neurodivergent superstars kick their challenges into touch, play to their strengths, and stop battling against ways of working that don’t fit.
ABOUT:
I’m just a girl from the south who moved up to the Midlands to live in the countryside - because that’s always felt like home to me. I’m in my early 40s now and a huge animal lover. I share my life with a dog and a horse - a right pair of idiots and absolute chaos on eight legs, but I wouldn’t swap them for the world. I’ve lived in Shropshire for around eight years and have built some lifelong friendships here.
Outside of work, I love hacking and fun rides with my horse, long walks with my dog, gardening, kayaking, and sitting round campfires with brilliant people just talking about the world.
Career-wise, I spent over 20 years in senior roles inside global businesses, working across sectors like fuel and automotive. I led large teams, managed national operations, and even flew to Tokyo to collect a global award. But behind the scenes, I lived with cycles of burnout, lifelong imposter syndrome, and the devastating impact of severe, undiagnosed ADHD. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse, perimenopause entered the party - boom.
It was just after COVID, as the world began to return to some kind of normality, that I finally snapped. I hadn’t taken a holiday in over a year and was always mentally on call for work. I was available 24/7 for retailers, their teams, and their communities, and I felt like the weight of the world was sitting squarely on my shoulders. Every six to eight weeks I’d crash, but I kept going until I couldn’t anymore.
Taking voluntary redundancy gave me the space to understand what was really happening and why I’d struggled the way I had. Ever since, I’ve been researching and studying neurodiversity in great detail, and that knowledge, combined with my lived experience, means I can now spot the same red flags in others. I know how painful it is to walk away from a career you love because you think you’re not good enough, and I’ll never let that happen to anyone I work with.
